2021 Elton John – Music Legends 1 oz Gold Bullion Coin is the second release in the Legends of Music series… The United Kingdom has long been a cradle of musical innovation, giving rise to some of the most influential artists in history. This groundbreaking collection honours legendary musicians by featuring them on official UK coins. The series debuted with a tribute to the legendary rock band Queen and has since included other music icons like David Bowie and Elton John.
Born as Reginald Dwight on March 25, 1947, in Pinner, England. Elton John demonstrated remarkable musical talent early on, learning piano at just three years old. Over his five-decade career, he has sold over 300 million records worldwide. He Earned numerous accolades, including five Grammy Awards and an Academy Award. His flamboyant stage presence and timeless hits have made him a beloved figure in the music industry and popular culture.
