The 2013 Brittania 1oz Britannia Silver Coin is a product of The Royal Mint and has a face value of £2. The year of 2013 was the first year that the silver Britannia coin was minted in the fine silver. This is the only year of the 999 fine issues that the fineness is not listed on the coin making it a one year only type! The Britannia coin series features the iconic image of Britannia, the female personification of the British Isles, on the reverse side, with Queen Elizabeth II depicted on the obverse side.
