The 2024 African Elephant 1oz silver coin is a beautiful piece of artistry and craftsmanship. Struck from 9999 fine silver, the coin weighs 1 ounce or 31.1 grams. On the obverse side of the coin, you’ll find the Somalian coat of arms, which features two leopards, a shield, and two spears. The year of mintage, 2024, and the value of 100 shillings are also displayed. The reverse side of the coin is where the magic happens. Each year, the design changes, and for 2024, it features an African elephant. This year’s design showcases a playful calf under the African sun with acacia trees in the background. This coin is a product of the Bavarian Mint, a well-respected institution with a long history of producing high-quality coins.
